This was a qualitative study exploring relationships between patients during inpatient treatment for anorexia nervosa (AN) in the UK. The data set consists of 9 anonymised interview transcripts for one-to-one semi-structured interviews with those who have experienced inpatient treatment. We then used thematic analysis to seek to understand which aspects of interpatient relationships participants felt was helpful and unhelpful to their recovery. These data was collected between June and July 2022 by Elizabeth Lotery, University of Bristol.
